Wonderful article Pastor Mike! I am one of the blessed and privileged people to be in the choir… it was an awesome experience for me and my husband. In fact being there at North Carolina for the conference was a great miracle for us, which took place at the very last minute– we headed to the airport with a “standby” passenger ticket.. and we made it to the plane! Also, we didn’t have as much finances as we should have, but thank God… He made us come home full and blessed. SO to God be the glory and Kudos to all our Filipino Folks… Pastor Eduard and I salute you all!

I hope that some one has remember me in the Philippines that I attend mass choir.
I remember that awesome experience that I explore the world of mass choir of the united pentecostal philippines. I became a dreamer ‘in the LORD’ . I met a lot of friends, and see their humble lives that they do it all in the NAME of the LORD.
I was one of the ordinary choir members as I go to school but I have grown “musically” in meeting friends in this ’so called group singing’
“basta attend lang ako ng attend ng practice”. As they say ‘practice makes perfect.
I can say that “I’m truly Blessed” in attending the practices because “I CAN FEEL
THE POWER” of JESUS in the lives of humble ordinary musicians in (upc philippines).
ANG Masasabi ko SALAMAT sa mga lutong bahay ni nanay, kasi minsan kanya kanya kaming discarte sa pag back-up. ANG DAMI DAMI kasing taong pasasalamatan ko eh. Baka di na ako makilala sa pagka taba ko ngayon. Minsan mag dieta na ako para lang makilala ako.

In times of inevitable calamities like this, it would help if you will send your announcement thru the different pastor’s cellphone number in every local church for the immediate information of every believer incase donations will be given to casualties (brethren). Hi, I’m going to be moving to the Camotes Islands to work at a job nine months every year, where I already have living quarters established, and I’m not aware of any UPC churches there, so to attend church on Sundays, I’ll go to the mainland, maybe spend Saturday nights there, attend service on Sunday, then go back. What I’m wondering is, with boat schedules and service times, would it be best for me to attend a UPC church in Danao City, Cebu, possibly Ormoc, or somewhere else?

This is really a hard work, but God is with us. Everybody should be an evangelist, a soul winner, a responsible saint/member of the local church. When the church will travail in prayer souls will be born in the kingdom of God. This is very realistic program if we will be able to delegate the task to our members. This program is for five years to work out, in other words if we are more than 300,000 now in the whole country with 1,800 churches in one month time with the average of just 6 souls every church then 700,000 is possible. In Hong KOng we have an average 15 souls

Greetings again. After speaking at length with Laura later on, I found that—according to her—that she went to the church at GOLDEN CITY SUBD, SALAUAG, which address she got when googling the Uniting Pentecostal Church of Philipines. So how could this be ? Also, when Laura asked if they believe in speaking in tongues, they said they dont do that. At which point I advised her that that church is not a truly apostolic church, and is not right for her. Although, she distinctly remembers the minister saying the words…”I baptise you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord”. So if indeed her memory is correct, then they do baptise in the name of Jesus. And, after Laura was baptised, her 10 year old daughter Katelyn also requested baptism–and was quite broken to be told that they only baptise when children are 12 years old. Now I have not met Katelyn, so do not actually know her heart, and how genuine she is for the Lord—even though her mother says she is ready. But, in most Australian assemblies, if a child is considered to be aware of what they are doing down to the age of about 7 or 8, then after counseling by their pastor, they can be baptised. As I dont know what your assembly thinks about this, I only tell you this so you can advise Laura according to how you see this situation.
Lastly, this other church is due to phone Laura today or tomorrow, to set up a time to conduct a bible study in her home. She is willing to be used of the Lord, so I am hoping (and praying) that she will tap into a UPC assembly in her area, and can become an active sister in close fellowship with the saints.

My mother, Pilar Arosa is a member of Pentecostal Church. Whenever I visited her, I attended her group church service. It made her very happy. I am not sure if this is the church she is attending. I lost contact with my mother since February 2010. For some reasons, home and mobile phone of my relatives and friends are not responding. many times we had conducted leadership seminars both the young people and the elders to include those who are not actually being used in the service of the church without clearly identifying the persons who are really needed in the church. Likewise, in the local churches, there was no evaluation if those who are attending the seminars are really performing their assigned task in the church in accordance with what the objective of the seminars. In order that the efforts and the expenses of the attendees will be more useful, meaningful and be of great significant to the ministry , i suggest that the higher office will come up with a policy where it specifies the right attendees particularly those who are used in the ministry of the local church and the same people will be subjected for further evaluation as follow-up to see their effectiveness.

I was once a baptized member of UPC. After 2 or 3 years of attendance, I left the church. That was when I was around 19 years old. Now that I am 50 years old, I want to join the church once again. Now, I am in K.S.A. and I keep in touch with Rev. Fernando Marfil who is my “kinakapatid (or “god-brother”) and is a pastor in one of the churches in Antipolo, Rizal. I informed him about my plan of joining this church which I think is really for me. Before going to Saudi Arabia, I was informed that the UPC Church was located in Patiis, San Mateo, Rizal. Is this the UPC San Mateo Church as shown on picture? I want to visit this Church when I come back to the Philippines. By the way, I am also in touch here in K.S.A. with sister Virginia Estavillo Abitong Madera whose husband is working in Jubail, not very far from Ras Tanura where I am now.

Wonderful article Pastor Mike! I am one of the blessed and privileged people to be in the choir… it was an awesome experience for me and my husband. In fact being there at North Carolina for the conference was a great miracle for us, which took place at the very last minute– we headed to the airport with a “standby” passenger ticket.. and we made it to the plane! Also, we didn’t have as much finances as we should have, but thank God… He made us come home full and blessed. I remember that awesome experience that I explore the world of mass choir of the united pentecostal philippines. I became a dreamer ‘in the LORD’ . I met a lot of friends, and see their humble lives that they do it all in the NAME of the LORD.
I was one of the ordinary choir members as I go to school but I have grown “musically” in meeting friends in this ’so called group singing’
“basta attend lang ako ng attend ng practice”. As they say ‘practice makes perfect.
I can say that “I’m truly Blessed” in attending the practices because “I CAN FEEL
THE POWER” of JESUS in the lives of humble ordinary musicians in (upc philippines).

This is really a hard work, but God is with us. Everybody should be an evangelist, a soul winner, a responsible saint/member of the local church. When the church will travail in prayer souls will be born in the kingdom of God. This is very realistic program if we will be able to delegate the task to our members. This program is for five years to work out, in other words if we are more than 300,000 now in the whole country with 1,800 churches in one month time with the average of just 6 souls every church then 700,000 is possible. In Hong KOng we have an average 15 souls

praise the Lord,pastor..i thank the Lord for letting me find this site..you may not remember me,but i got baptized in PEC way back 1984,i was a member of Signal Village Church(was under ptr.Ed Arquines)1990 i went to Rome there was no church….i prayed that God would send somebody here….1993 ptr.Mirabella came w his family….you know the joy i felt…they are teaching the same doctrine you’re teaching there…for about 8 months i attended PEC before we’ve got a church in Signal…and i can’t forget the teachings i’ve recieved there(though i was so young then)may i remind you also that you were the one who solemnized (did i said it right…i’m italianized..huh!!)our wedding…so i still have a picture of you…thank you and may God continue to bless your ministry….see you…

Greetings again. After speaking at length with Laura later on, I found that—according to her—that she went to the church at GOLDEN CITY SUBD, SALAUAG, which address she got when googling the Uniting Pentecostal Church of Philipines. So how could this be ? Also, when Laura asked if they believe in speaking in tongues, they said they dont do that. At which point I advised her that that church is not a truly apostolic church, and is not right for her. Although, she distinctly remembers the minister saying the words…”I baptise you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord”. So if indeed her memory is correct, then they do baptise in the name of Jesus. And, after Laura was baptised, her 10 year old daughter Katelyn also requested baptism–and was quite broken to be told that they only baptise when children are 12 years old. Now I have not met Katelyn, so do not actually know her heart, and how genuine she is for the Lord—even though her mother says she is ready. But, in most Australian assemblies, if a child is considered to be aware of what they are doing down to the age of about 7 or 8, then after counseling by their pastor, they can be baptised. As I dont know what your assembly thinks about this, I only tell you this so you can advise Laura according to how you see this situation.
Lastly, this other church is due to phone Laura today or tomorrow, to set up a time to conduct a bible study in her home. She is willing to be used of the Lord, so I am hoping (and praying) that she will tap into a UPC assembly in her area, and can become an active sister in close fellowship with the saints.

My mother, Pilar Arosa is a member of Pentecostal Church. Whenever I visited her, I attended her group church service. It made her very happy. I am not sure if this is the church she is attending. I just wanna know your phone number in your church and address.
many times we had conducted leadership seminars both the young people and the elders to include those who are not actually being used in the service of the church without clearly identifying the persons who are really needed in the church. Likewise, in the local churches, there was no evaluation if those who are attending the seminars are really performing their assigned task in the church in accordance with what the objective of the seminars. In order that the efforts and the expenses of the attendees will be more useful, meaningful and be of great significant to the ministry , i suggest that the higher office will come up with a policy where it specifies the right attendees particularly those who are used in the ministry of the local church and the same people will be subjected for further evaluation as follow-up to see their effectiveness.

I was once a baptized member of UPC. After 2 or 3 years of attendance, I left the church. That was when I was around 19 years old. Now that I am 50 years old, I want to join the church once again. Now, I am in K.S.A. and I keep in touch with Rev. Fernando Marfil who is my “kinakapatid (or “god-brother”) and is a pastor in one of the churches in Antipolo, Rizal. I informed him about my plan of joining this church which I think is really for me. Before going to Saudi Arabia, I was informed that the UPC Church was located in Patiis, San Mateo, Rizal. Is this the UPC San Mateo Church as shown on picture? I want to visit this Church when I come back to the Philippines. By the way, I am also in touch here in K.S.A. with sister Virginia Estavillo Abitong Madera whose husband is working in Jubail, not very far from Ras Tanura where I am now.
